Tensions within the Hamster Kombat team have raised concerns about the project’s future, including the potential delay or even cancellation of the planned airdrop and HMSTR token listing.
What’s Happening with Hamster Kombat?
Local news outlet Lenta.ru recently reported on internal conflicts within the Hamster Kombat team involving a dispute with investor AD.RU. The article claimed that the creators of this popular Telegram game allegedly refused to share profits, despite AD.RU’s role in financing and developing key mechanisms for the project.
The article was removed a day later without explanation. Anton Gorshkov, CEO of AD.RU, asserted that his company played a crucial role in the game’s development, following a 2020 proposal from Eduard Gurinovich for a mobile gaming and esports platform called Arenum.
In response to Gurinovich’s proposal, IT Holding invested $600,000 in the project, securing an 18.6% stake. AD.RU’s marketing support helped attract over $1 million in additional investment, increasing their ownership to 25%.
Gorshkov emphasized that AD.RU not only funded the project but also contributed to the development of game mechanics later used in Hamster Kombat. Despite these contributions, the investor received no returns, with the Hamster Kombat team allegedly making empty promises.
In June 2024, Gurinovich dismissed the claims, asserting that AD.RU had no involvement in the development of Hamster Kombat. In response, AD.RU presented technical evidence showing that the Hamster Kombat servers share the same hosting service as Arenum. Furthermore, the domain hamsterkombat.io was registered using the company email [email protected], which is associated with co-founder Alexander Pasechnik.
These details form the basis of AD.RU’s allegations. Gorshkov mentioned that he had filed a pre-litigation complaint against Gurinovich, hinting at further challenges ahead for the Hamster Kombat project.
Conflict Heats Up
The conflict surrounding Hamster Kombat escalated after marketing director Nikita Anufriev left the project in August. Anufriev claimed he was promised 25% of the revenue or equity in the company, but this promise was never fulfilled.
He asserted that he played a crucial role in promoting the game globally, securing strategic partnerships, including a $450,000 investment. Instead of sharing the profits, the team opted to return the money to the initial investors, a move that sparked discord among influencers and participants, further heightening tensions within the project.
“The key influencers and project participants believe that without their support, the project would not have achieved its current level of success. Rather than showing gratitude for a profitable venture generating millions in ad revenue, the founders chose to return the investment to the initial backers. This decision was seen as an insult by the influencers and key figures, prompting them to publicly express their dissatisfaction,” Anufriev shared.
The internal conflict within the project could have significant repercussions for players, with potential consequences including:
- Delays in the airdrop and slowed development: Legal and financial disputes may force the team to shift focus away from the HMSTR airdrop and the overall development of the project.
- Server stability and game availability: Ongoing disagreements could disrupt funding and lead to infrastructure issues, resulting in instability or even temporary shutdowns of the game.
The initial HMSTR airdrop, scheduled for the end of July, has been indefinitely postponed, with developers citing the complexity of executing such an event.
All hamster stakeholders should know their reputation is at stake. They should also consider the millions of users who have sacrificed a lot in terms of money, time and energy. Let them, please settle their differences immediately for the interest of the masses and the project itself.
They should settle their differences fast because there are grave implecations which cannot be estimated now but in future.
We regret purchasing your pre-sale coins on Bitget
Hamster project holds no water, the owners of the project has made a lot of money already.
Considering the amount of players in their ecosystem.
I’m not expecting the game to materialize.
Pls Hamster stakeholders, settle your differences and continue your business.
Make them no play with my CEO tittle oh
😂😂😂
Them should detter themselves from this misunderstanding issues and work their self out of this argument
Fuck them.. let them cancel the airdrop hahaaa
I strongly believe this is a ploy to continue exploiting people. I call it the ‘C way’: repeatedly taking advantage of individuals and then discarding them. It’s alarming that the Almighty TG permits such actions. How can you justify repeatedly extending a project with airdrop after airdrop? If not for NTC and Dog, there’s nothing remarkable about it. This raises serious concerns about the true intentions behind this project.
Yes grave consequences maybe….? what happens when the hamster gets off the wheel………….?
So upsetting like right now try to pity the stand of the community that devoted time, data, effort, emotion to project @hamsterkombat,,, settle your differences and make quick announcement for airdrop,,,don’t disappoint your community that trusted in your project!
I don’t understand what this people are talking about, upon all the effort that the community and all the players has put in this project, They should not disappoint us, let them settle their differences.
Eventually it all falls back to, “ DONT PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET”
The team already failed to understand so many worked against what I said above in quotes, giving it their best time and effort advertising this project to their friends, family and loved ones. Hamster will I be wrong if I say, you actually brought this project up for your own self interest, forgetting the mass? How then should you reward them for giving you such huge amount of cash in a shot time? Why let conflict in, when the mass is about to get rewarded? which is basically what everyone look forward too? Sought yourselves out, which I don’t see as big deal and do the needful. Giving back to the community. Be guided!!
Share the funds with every one, we all worked for it. Give back to the masses
So we should just forget about hamster kombat?
This whole thing is becoming unbearably annoying.
Hamster combat is reducing everyday instead of increasing and the community is not finding funny.
So what is the way forward?
