Vitalik Buterin wallet transferred ETH to CEX again
As previously reported, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin spoke up after the noise when transferring large amounts of ETH to CEX exchanges. He said this is essentially him donating to charity organizations, non-profit organizations or difficult projects.
Accordingly, Vitalik affirmed that he has no longer sold for personal gain since 2018. The amount of ETH sold was because these organizations needed money to continue operating expenses.
On December 19, a wallet labeled “vitalik.eth” allegedly transferred another $1.1 million to Coinbase Prime, a platform focused on Coinbase’s institutional customers, according to data from etherscan.

This is Vitalik’s first ETH transfer after more than a month without notable transactions. Previously, azc.news has continuously updated wallets related to Vitalik and the transfer of money to exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken and Bitstamp since around September with an estimated amount of more than 4000 ETH.
