Price Action and Market Liquidity
Market data shows XRP recorded over $6.4 billion in daily trading volume, despite slipping 2.5% in the last 24 hours and 1% over the past week. Earlier, the token broke above $3.00 and touched $3.10, boosted by dovish remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell at the Jackson Hole conference. His comments heightened expectations of a September rate cut, encouraging flows into risk assets such as cryptocurrencies.
Analyst Javon Marks highlighted that XRP continues to form large symmetrical triangles, a setup that has historically preceded explosive moves. He predicted the next rally could push XRP to $9.63 or higher, mirroring its 2017 surge after years of consolidation.

- Fibonacci 1.618 level: $9.63 – short-term target.
- Fibonacci 2.618 level: above $123 – a long-term, ambitious projection.
The breakout level was identified at $2, and XRP has already cleared it, recently hitting $3.60 in its latest run.
Moreover, Ripple’s legal victory against the SEC has boosted investor confidence and attracted strong institutional inflows. Analysts believe that if XRP can hold above near-term resistance levels, the token could rally toward the $5–$9 zone before entering its next growth phase.

Marks isn’t alone in his bullish outlook:
CryptoBull called $25 “the most logical price target” for XRP this bull cycle.
Crypto Feras pointed out that although XRP still trades about 9% below its 2018 peak, its market capitalization is now 41% higher, signaling significant growth potential despite an expanded supply.
Feras also reminded traders that XRP underperformed in the 2021 bull run when Bitcoin hit $69,000 but Ripple’s token failed to retest prior highs. This time, however, conditions appear different: institutional flows are stronger, macroeconomic sentiment is improving, and market psychology favors a breakout scenario.
