Golden Cross – A Long-Term Breakout Signal
At press time, LINK was trading around $24.59. A Golden Cross occurs when the 50-day moving average crosses above the 200-day moving average on the monthly timeframe — a bullish formation often viewed as a precursor to sustained uptrends.
Historically, LINK’s two previous monthly Golden Crosses (2019 and 2023) paved the way for strong rallies. Between July 2019 and mid-2021, LINK soared more than 2,550%. In 2023, the token gained 314% before stabilizing later that year.
Analyst Captain Faibik noted that LINK recently broke above a symmetrical triangle resistance near $25, projecting a potential rally toward $100 — a nearly 300% upside from current levels if the breakout continues.
On-Chain Metrics Reinforce Optimism

Chainlink’s market capitalization currently stands at approximately $16.64 billion, with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $24.54 billion and a circulating supply of over 678 million tokens. The past 24-hour trading volume reached $2.26 billion, reflecting strong liquidity.
Data from Glassnode shows New Addresses rising to 2,163 — a level last seen in November 2024, right before LINK surged from $10.56 to $29.26. Active Addresses are also trending higher, while the NVTS indicator has returned to levels historically associated with major rallies. These signals suggest renewed network activity, echoing conditions observed ahead of past breakout phases.
SBI Partnership as a Strategic Catalyst
Another major driver comes from Chainlink’s recently announced partnership with Japan’s SBI Group. Under this collaboration, SBI will leverage Chainlink’s CCIP to tokenize assets such as real estate and government bonds. SBI CEO Yoshitaka Kitao emphasized that Chainlink’s infrastructure aligns with SBI’s vision for secure, compliant cross-border finance.
This move is expected to boost institutional demand while enhancing the real-world utility of LINK, making it a key catalyst for the token’s long-term growth trajectory.
