Azcnews Arkham Offers $150,000 Bounty To Identify Djt Trump Token Creator

Arkham Intelligence has announced a $150,000 reward for anyone who can identify the creator of the Solana-based token DJT, which surged by up to 500% on Monday amid unfounded rumors of a connection to Donald Trump.

“Let’s do this. $150,000 to whoever can definitively uncover the identity of $DJT’s creator,” the firm tweeted on June 18.

The bounty will remain open for eight days and will be paid in 100,000 Arkham (ARKM) tokens, valued at $1.56 each at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap.

“Provide conclusive evidence of the creator of $DJT. We will accept private submissions, but if accepted, the proof will be made public,” the bounty announcement states.

“The evidence must be original and not sourced from the internet. You cannot claim this bounty by being the first to report news that was already broken elsewhere.”

Notable blockchain investigator ZachXBT is among those who have already submitted a claim.

Speculation is rife online about whether the DJT token was indeed launched by Donald Trump or a member of his family. On decentralized betting platform Polymarket, nearly $1.7 million has been wagered on whether the DJT token is “real.”

Currently, only 17% of the bets are in the “Yes” camp. To win, definitive proof must be presented by 11:59 ET on June 21; otherwise, the market will resolve to “No.”

The rumor suggesting Trump is behind the DJT token, allegedly spearheaded by his son Barron Trump, originated from a post by tech blog Pirate Wires. The post cited unspecified “conversations” as its source.

When questioned about the origin of the information, Pirate Wires creator Mike Solana admitted he “didn’t speak with Trump directly” and was “just reporting what I know via sources.”

As of now, DJT is trading at $0.016, a 50% drop from its peak of $0.036 on Tuesday, according to Birdseye.
