SSID, in collaboration with U2U Network—one of the top three DePIN Layer-1 platforms according to Messari—has announced the VietBUIDL Hackathon 2025, the largest blockchain hackathon in the region with a total prize pool of up to $4 million.
Supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS), this event features strategic partners including HackQuest, SeaDePIN, Fluxor, and IoT Innovation Hub—experts in IoT and emerging technologies who will provide mentorship to participating teams.
The VietBUIDL Hackathon aims not only to award prizes but also to build blockchain talent, connect global developers, and expand the U2U Network ecosystem on a global scale.
Outstanding projects from the hackathon will be launched directly on the U2U Network, offering special benefits such as:
- Comprehensive end-to-end technical support
- Direct access to a user base of over 1.4 million active users
- Integration into a thriving ecosystem with over 100 high-quality projects
- Community development opportunities through established channels and partners of U2U

The hackathon will run from August to October 2025, focusing on three main development tracks:
- User Apps: Including DeFi (decentralized finance), GameFi (blockchain gaming), SocialFi (blockchain social networking), and RWA (tokenized real-world assets).
- DePIN: Decentralized physical infrastructure networks.
- AI: Artificial intelligence integrated with blockchain.
