Binance Moonbix Declines Token Launch But Confirms Airdrop Plans

Recently, the crypto community has been buzzing with rumors that Binance would release a token called “Moonbix Coin” for the Telegram game Moonbix. However, on October 1st, the development team officially denied this information.

In their announcement, Moonbix clarified:

We’ve noticed some rumors going around about a “Moonbix Coin” launch. To clear things up, our team is not introducing any such coin, and there are no plans for game tokens either.

This statement sparked skepticism within the crypto community regarding Moonbix’s transparency. Some even speculated that it might be a scam project aimed at attracting users to Binance without providing any real benefits.

In response to this wave of doubt, just one day later, Moonbix announced an airdrop plan for players involving one of three tokens:

  • BNB
  • DOGS
  • NOT

Moonbix, a gold mining game developed by Binance, has attracted 17 million users in less than a month since its launch. Following the success of Notcoin and DOGS, it has become the top choice in the Tap to Earn trend. However, the community remains cautious after previous disappointing experiences with similar projects like Hamster Kombat, where players received only around $10 after half a year of relentless “grinding.”
