Introduction to Nansen
Nansen is an on-chain data analytics platform launched in 2019, known for its ability to analyze and label millions of wallets across multiple blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain, and over 45 other chains.
Nansen’s strength compared to competitors like CryptoQuant and Glassnode lies in its vast data repository containing labeled wallets based on behavior, such as wallets profiting from NFTs, airdrops, providing liquidity, or belonging to large organizations. Nansen offers tools for transaction analysis, tracking cash flows, and wallet behavior, helping investors make more informed decisions.
The project has raised $88.2 million through three funding rounds from major funds like a16z and Coinbase Ventures, achieving a valuation of $750 million, solidifying its leading position in the on-chain analytics space.
Currently, Nansen has launched the Nansen Points (NXP) Season 1 program, confirmed as an opportunity for users to accumulate points and potentially receive token airdrops in the future, similar to the Arkham ($ARKM) project.
