Introduction about Mawari Airdrop
Mawari is a DePIN protocol built on Solana, designed to scale spatial computing and deliver real-time 3D content, enabling users to interact seamlessly with their surroundings through cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and extended reality (XR).
At its core, Mawari aims to provide users with swift, high-quality virtual experiences without relying heavily on the performance of individual VR devices. By establishing a global spatial computing platform powered by an extensive network of GPU nodes, Mawari offers decentralized storage and optimized computing resources tailored for AR/VR experiences. This lays the foundation for distributing real-time 3D content in a decentralized, accessible, and globally scalable manner.
Mawari was founded and developed by Luis Oscar Ramirez, a visionary who previously co-founded and led the Japanese edition of MUTEK, an internationally renowned festival that champions digital creativity in sound, music, and audiovisual arts. Luis also served as the global marketing director at MUSIC Tribe, one of the world’s leading conglomerates in professional audio and musical instrument technology.
The project has successfully raised $17.3 million across two funding rounds—Seed and Strategic—led by prominent investors such as Anfield Ltd, Borderless Capital, and 1kx, with participation from notable funds including Accord Ventures, Animoca Brands Japan, Blockchange Ventures, Draper Dragon, and Samsung Next.
Mawari has kicked off its first initiative with tasks on Galxe, allowing users to participate, earn 1,000 points, and join as early adopters—potentially unlocking opportunities to receive airdrops in the future.
