Conditions for Receiving the Ancient8 Airdrop
To be eligible for the A8 token airdrop, users must meet at least one of the following conditions:
- Own at least 3 Ancient8 Testnet badges.
- Own at least 5 Ancient8 Mainnet Genesis Pioneer badges.
- Be an Ancient8 Mainnet Mastery Participant on Galxe with at least 350 points.
- Own an Ancient8 Retro badge.
- Participate in the Ancient8 Mainnet Leaderboard.
- Hold the “Saint Giong Role” in the Ancient8 Discord channel.
- Hold the Hairy The Bene NFT at the snapshot time of 17:00 on July 12, 2024 (UTC).
- Hold the Zone Nine NFT at the snapshot time of 17:00 on July 12, 2024 (UTC).
- Be an Ancient8 content creator.
- Be a developer/builder on Ancient8.
According to the project team, this airdrop will distribute a total of 50 million A8 tokens to the community, which accounts for 5% of the total supply of 1 billion A8 tokens. The initial circulating supply of A8 at the time of token issuance will be 194 million tokens, equivalent to 19.4% of the total supply, which includes:
- 5% allocated for the airdrop, equivalent to 50 million A8 tokens.
- 5% for liquidity: unlocked at TGE, with the remaining amount unlocked over the next 12 months.
- 3% for the treasury: unlocked at token issuance, with the remaining amount locked for 12 months and then linearly released over the following 24 months.
- 6.4% for the development of the Ancient8 community and ecosystem: unlocked over the next 48 months.

Ancient8 Chain is a Layer-2 blockchain built on Optimism’s OP Stack to address scalability challenges and broad adoption for Web3 games. Additionally, Ancient8 Chain uses Celestia for Data Availability (DA) to provide fast transaction processing at low costs and offers advanced technology for developers to build on-chain games.

- 10% for Seed Round Investors: 100 million tokens, locked for 1 year, with monthly unlocking over the subsequent 2 years.
- 6% for Private Round Investors: 60 million tokens, locked for 6 months, with monthly unlocking over the subsequent 18 months.
- 20% for the Development Team: 200 million tokens, locked for 1 year, with monthly unlocking over the subsequent 36 months.
- 2% for Advisors: 20 million tokens, locked for 1 year, with monthly unlocking over the subsequent 36 months.
- 5% for Public Distribution (Airdrop): 50 million tokens, unlocked at the time of token issuance.
